School Visits & Educational Programs

The Peace Museum & Learning Lab offers students of all ages an engaging, interactive learning experience where they can explore peace, environmental justice, human rights, conflict resolution, and community change through exhibits, hands-on activities, and meaningful dialogue.

Located in Kingston, New York, the museum welcomes schools, homeschool groups, after-school programs, youth organizations, and community groups from across the Hudson Valley and beyond.

What Students Experience

Our programs encourage students to ask questions, think critically, collaborate with others, and explore their role in creating positive change.

Students may participate in:

  • Peacebuilding and conflict resolution activities

Programs can be adapted for elementary, middle, and high school students.

Our exhibits support classroom learning and connect with social studies, civics, environmental science, English language arts, and social-emotional learning standards.

Programs for Teachers

The Learning Lab offers professional development opportunities for educators, including CTLE-credit eligible workshops that explore peace education, restorative practices, climate education, community engagement, and social-emotional learning. These programs provide teachers with practical tools, resources, and teaching strategies that can be integrated directly into the classroom.
